I have been heavily contemplating them bc  of the resurgence of the 90's era braids( my heyday with braids). But, I remember the long ass sitting time and it makes me change my mind right quick. But, I soooo think I want some!!! Still thinking it over!

I'm rocking waist length Havana twists until December. Of course I'm going to reinstall and wash them..
I think I'll redo them every month

@Jess...pic please... I love Havana twists!!!

I am on the second week of braids...took me 10 hours to do them and they look...well...spindleyEmbarrassed...I cannot wear them down, but I am not taking them out anytime soon. Thank God for phonytails. I have been dying to start wearing my afro puff.

I want to try out Havana twists. I'm just afraid of my hair drying out.

@luvmybigassfro,
Yeah I was reminiscing about the 90s too! Had to get them big braids like Janet Jackson, obsessed about them braids! Saw Brandy post her Instagram pics and that weekend I got them done. While sitting on the chair for 5+ hours I remember why I stopped braids in the first place, and don't forget the heaviness either! I love the look and style of these braids but I'm counting down the weeks to get rid of these things. My neck will thank me!

I will probably rock Havana Twists for some part of the summer.  I did my own in March.  It really doesn't take that long to do them.  It took me about 4 hours and I had never done any type of extensions before.

I have some hip length box braids in. To ME they aren't thick enough to be dookie/Poetic Justice braids but they are bigger than average.

I like them but they get messy SO FAST! Its been about a month and I'm used to getting 3 months out of braids (with maintenance). These will probably barely get me to two. I do love the look though, so I maaaayyyy still do them again.

The main reason I got them was to do a killer bun but....I'm scared. This weight is no joke, lol.

I had some fluffy twists for 8 weeks. I'm glad I did it because I REALLY needed a break from my hair. I loved the way they looked and they were SO light. They were done so well I was able to wear a ponytail the same day. I've never done that with twist/braid extensions before. The four day take down wasn't fun, but at least I was able to do it without help for the first time ever. I may get them done again.
