Bumping for Ms. Yah Yah, where are you girl.Exclamation

I just thought about something, maybe this technique the toupee guys use may have an added benefit, one says he uses UH constantly and gets a 4 week hold, and I have read about the dangers of toulene products, so I'm wondering if this certain dri contains the ingredients to block sweat from getting out will it also block glues, etc from seeping through your pores, in other words it sounds like a good buffer, esp if liquid bandaid is added in addition.

Hey yall! Dang I can't believe I didn't see this post earlier. Thanks for the pm Wink

The ingredients in Certain Dri is Aluminum Chloride, sodium bicarbonate, & water. Certain Dry works by closing off the pores. Any sweat that would normally be release from that area will be safely redistributed to other areas of the body's skin surfaces (Reading from the pamplet inside the box).

This is how I did my summer time treatment

For one week I applied it around my hairline at night (the box says to use it at night since that is when it works to shrink the pores) After the week was up I just applied it once  a week, any time of day, whenever I reapplied my LF.

I applied in this order - certain dri (let dry completely)-scalp protector-glue/tape.

I believe in the original thread people said the scalp protector made the hold weaken and some said it made it stronger  so I guess it depends on the person body chemistry.

LMAO @ Sexibeach! You aint lying about LF's in the summertime. The trials are soon approaching.
