Gkisses "Dang brown girls cant give darker girls advice on loving the skin their in? You gotta be of the same complexion"
To me it's sim to a sz/20, asking a sz/2 for body image advice.
Who feels it knows it.
I'm well aware dark skin people, in general can have a harder go of it,
which imo is BS.
Im going to disagree a positive message is a positive message. She asked another black woman...As far as you example goes a chick at both sizes can relate on body issues. There is a common ground where there can be a meeting of the minds. A issue can be addressed without both parties having an identical path. Treating dark skin as something that is this abnormal thing that only a certain ppl can appreciate does more harm than good by being divisive yet again. Especially since man blk families are bows of brown shades.....how would that even work if the mom is lighter than her daughter? Can she not teach her and install in her how beautiful she is as she grows.
At the end of the day..this girl (real or fake) will have to find it within her self to appreciate and celebrate who she is.
