I believe ammonium in general is not a good ingredient for food or cosmetics. We always buy a natural baking powder thats ammonium-free..my mom call ammonium 'poison' but I'm not scientifically sure or anything..hmm, now doesn't garnier fructis' shampoo have ammonium chloride in it? lemme check...
no, it has "amodimethicone".
(hope this helps any..Geek)

Hmm, bad ingredient?  I'm not really sure.  It is a form of salt and it's an ingredient in cough syrups and antiperspirants.  I suspect it is in the hair color to help the pigments attach to your hair shaft.  Here's a link to Wikipedia:Ammonium chloride - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thank you very much... It is listed #18 on the ingredients list... so that is very low... the total ingredients is 25...

I like this hair semi rinse... I just got my touch-up, on Thursday and I want to use the rinse on Tuesday...

Thanks

Ammonium Chloride is used in some products, dyes etc.  Your hair will be fine.  It is one ingredient, that is used in dyes, for better penetration.  Less is used in semi/demi permanent dyes and rinses, than permanent dyes.

Cluadie... You are a GODDESS to us here on this forum... May God Give you Blessings forever... You know we LOVE,LOVE,LOVE you here...

One quick question.... I had my touch-up this past Thursday and I want to use the rinse tomorrow.. I should be OK then ?

I used it before and I like it because it does not bleed or rub off on my clothe...

The rinse I use is by Goldwell, called Colorance Soft Color Foam rinse...

As always... TIA... Much Love goes out to you and your family... They are Blessed for having such a caring and loving family member...
