I had an argument with a Marylander about Boowie vs Bowie, but according to this list I was supposed to say it the same way Embarrassed. I do say some things diff than the other Texans though

I still don't kno how to say Bowie. I've said it different everytime.


LOL in Decatur, GA there's a street called McAfee Road intersecting Candler Road (my hood) and I pronounce it like McDonalds......Mc-a-fee. But I guess natives think it's MAC-a-fee.....it's very strange to me.

It's "Mc" Donalds not "Mac" Donalds. I don't see an extra "A" and it's not silent either.

Has anyone come in and said that some people (I've noticed mostly Italians) in NJ, LI & parts of NYC (Queens) say "yous" instead of just "you"?

I find it hysterical!
