Glad those kids are out of his care.

I hate bad parents. I really really hate them. I think bad parents should be publicly flogged with a horse whip.

The trial happen in 1993, it happen in his small town in Virginia. A.I and his friends got into with some white kids at a bowling alley, the whites that got hurt was upset and wanted A.I in jail but the black community got him off. Blacks that lived in that small town say A.I had never been the same since and after watching the documentary I just felt sorry for him.
