Well somebody better start praying for something with the low rate of education in these public schools! If they are praying I say its a good thing... if it not for you just say your own prayer or step out the room if you feel that strongly

LOL I can't even argue with the nature.  <----(I'm lying)  Damn!  These poor kids.  This was posted above the results.

The numbers below reveal that few states are performing at high levels, and most are poorly preparing students for science, technology and engineering.

According to a statement last week, Cottle said that although the SERI scores do not compare states to schools' performances in other countries, even the American leader -- Massachusetts -- would struggle to compete with countries like China or Singapore.

For years, the U.S. has lagged behind other countries in math and science. A 2009 study showed that American students ranked 25th among 34 countries, behind nations like China, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and Finland.

ETA:  Those countries at the top are far more secular (non-religious).   America is failing these kids badly.

Ouch

So much for separation of church and state.

It's backwards that we pick and choose what sections of the constitution we want follow.

I hope they're prepared for the lawsuits that are about to come their way.

prayer belongs at home/church/mosque/synagogue/etc…not in a public school that serves children of all faiths.
