When I read this thread, my mind went to Elvis a long time ago when he said "The only thing a black can do for me is buy my records & shine my shoes.
I can't believe this job is still being done in 2013, and by black folks nonetheless....

I never read a denial . I use to watch Elvis movies as a child, until one day my parents stop me due to the rumor lol .

While I do feel some kind of way about it, I have to admit I considered getting my shoes shine while I was in Boston, it's just something that I've always wanted to experience. Of course it would be much better if the person doing it was white.
