Have you done anything different lately with hair products, detergents, fabric softener? black heads are considedered non-inflammed acne, do you have some that are inflammed as well? Do you work out? Do you drink enough water? History of acne in your family? What makeup/foundation do you use? If you don't mind telling me your age..(inbox me). All of these questions are necessary...

I don't mind the questions at all - if this can help find the cause of these blackheads, I'm more than willing to answer Wink

I haven't changed detergents, facial or hair products. I've noticed that I get these blackhead outbreaks; it will start with one blackhead, then I'll notice more and before I know it both cheeks are broken out in blackheads. I don't work out often Confused All I drink is water. As of late I've been drinking sodas and juices, but I've cut those out before. There is a history of acne in my family and out of all my siblings I seem to be the only one directly affecting it. As far as foundation, I use Sephora's Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. And I don't mind disclosing my age; I'm 21.

I'm having the same problem. And still looking for a way to stop them from coming back on my chin. I get a facial and get mine extracted but about three weeks later, here they come again. And I don't know why b/c pimples used to be my problem now it's blackheads. After this set of extractions, I'm going to keep trying an aspirin mast twice a week to see if that helps.

I tried the egg mask on different occasions, and each time it did little - if anything - to rid me of these blackheads. Ouch

I suffer from the exact same thing. Blackheads on my cheeks. I hate them! Every time I get rid of them (via squeezing them, I know I know its bad but I don't know of any other way) I've tried lots of things but to no avail. I'm 23 and the kicker is that I had nearly flawless skin up until I hit 20/21. Now I constantly combat blackheads and a few pimples. Bumping for more info! Thanks!

Ugh, I know what you mean. I'm trying to combat this issue as well. I have no idea what adivce to give, but I'm going to try the AVC toner and shea butter for a month, then see what happens. Exfoliating once a week; I can't do it too much bc my skin is very sensitive.

I agree with the facials. its the only way for my blackheads to be removed. I get it done once a month. You can also try retin a .This will increase the rate at which your pores are cleared. It takes 2-3 mnths to kick in, but the facials with extraction will help. After my alpha hydroxy facial yesterday,  my boyfriend said " it looks like someone removed the spots from your face". Thats his way of saying that my blackheads are gone.

Mix well honey with crushed almonds and apply on face. This homemade face mask will clean up your skin drawing out impurities and also help to get rid of blackheads.
