Most Sudanese women (not just these models) keep their hair short, if its "long" its always cornrowed. hair is not that big deal. and with the models, the designers have come to like that "exotic" look, their features are striking for the western world so win-win for both the girls and their employers

To me, only a striking woman can carry the short afro look and still look regal. These girls have amazing bone structure and there is no need to hide it under some Indian Remy.

I think it would look cute if some grew their natural hair out plus it would be different. Afros are the best

I'm sure it would look nice also. But none of that silky weave swinging down the hips thing. This kind of bone structure must be exploited to the fullest, imo. Plus I'm assuming they'd have a hard time doing that in the business they're in. They're runway models. Someone backstage would always want to manipulate their hair with all kinds of products and heat and so forth, and natural hair doesn't respond well to excessive manipulation
