well, well, well.
I just learned me something today.
My sister's ex is Nigerian (came to the US for college) and he gave her some nice things. She helped him with his portfolio and this nicca was bought her jewelry on some "In my country...".

I laughed out loud irl at briany's response!
I would also add that the well educated in west africa, in my case, ghana are very well paid and compensated. You could survive on added benefits/allowances and not need to use ur paycheck. If you're money savvy, you could save a lot and live in luxury

Its not only GOV'T. My husband has a business partner that's into oil and the dude drops by the house with friends when ever he comes to the US. Got me running around like a chicken tryna cook stews and stuff for his greedy 8 pieces of meat in one sitting arses...Asking for MORE!!  But whenever he leaves he gives the kids 1k each and gives me 3k for all my troubles and takes me to the farmers market to shop for groceries. My husband be pimpin me on the low to cook for these fools. Telling me about the plan before they come.
