Have any of you received accupuncture therapy before? My sisters are recommending it to alleviate some anxiety attacks I've been having recently but the idea freaks me out!

Would you recommend it? What's it like? My sister does it on a weekly basis but she is on some other ish.

I've used acupressure for pain (muscle type). I don't think I'm interested in the puncture one lol

I would recommend it.  The needles do not, should not hurt.  I go for my shoulders and saw an improvement after one treatment.

My doctor stuck my arm first just to give me an idea and it was nothing.  It does not feel like a regular, shot needle.

I've never had it personally but I do believe it does work...that medicine is centuries/milleniums old so it's stood the test of time as a remedy for illnesses.  Go ahead and try it!

I'm certified in and have tried the following: Reiki, Hypnotherapy, & Yoga. They also compliment traditional medicines as well. Many doctors and hospitals in the states are just now starting to incorporate these things into their practices.
