He should ask his fiancee to incorporate Vitamin E & D rich meals into his diet b/c those lips are reflecting a deficiency of nutrients, dehydration, neglect, etc

his statement was evidence of this naivety

he probably grew up around white people,

went to school with white people

saw white people smile at him everyday etc etc

so its very possible that he had never experienced overt racism (mind you the brits are very adept at hiding their racism) hence only realising how racist the world was with his brother's death and mind you he was probably still very young at the time too

his comments are not unique to him and speak to the experiences of many black people indigenous (second gen) to the uk

Don't ever question the black mans devotion to whites. Read all the things that harry belafonte endured ( he was almost shot point blank in a bathroom by a white police officer for using the wrong bathroom) and he still had the nerve to tell eartha kitt that his heart belonged to white women and that their relationship would never get serious.
