We generally start the night before with drinking and cooking. On thanksgiving we wait for the remainder of our family members to show up with their dishes. We eat wherever we can find a seat, drink, joke and wait for my aunt to get drunk and start cussing everyone out.

My mother said something about sitting at the table.. I was like "  you can" We never do..and then last night she asked if we would be getting dressed.. umm noo I'm in tights and a night shirt, like every year. What is she going through this year? We played Mortal Kombat, now watching Workaholics

usually we have a big family dinner, everyone brings something. We eat around 4 and then watch some football ; then dessert. Then we play charades (lot of fussing and name calling--all love tho); some are playing spades or bid; folks on wii; some outdoors doing things. We exchange names at the end of the night.
But this year since my mom and sibs are on a holiday cruise, it's a quiet holiday with just hub and me. We did a romantic TG dinner with candles and jazz.
eta: we do dress for dinner.

Everybody sits at the dining room table and eats. I wait until almost everyone is done before I eat. I feel like they watch me while I eat.  It's weird.

I eat poorly cooked food and sit on the computer. I usually go to my grandmas but I don't think I have the patience to deal with them today...or ever

Well my fam doesn't celebrate on Thanksgiving day, everyone works(medical field)...so we do it one the weekend after. We eat, watch tv, alwyas a game of spades, then my sis and brother start talking about other family members, arguments break out,ppl get mad and finally go home. After they all leave, I eat again
