Bhm whats a typical thanksgiving like for you?
Does everyone eat together at the dinner table in their nice clothes and have a family meal or does everyone grab their plate and go do their own thing like watch the football game and chill?

eat on couch, watching tv. mom on her ipad. me on my mac. may or may not be in separate rooms. ps, im still in my pajamas

It starts out nice. No dress code enforced. We say a prayer, thanks, etc. We eat all over the house. This is when it goes down...we whip out a scategories, taboo, a game of ziggy ziggy...soon, very soon after somebody is about to be all kinds of biches and ain't shyt ngas...games are REAL in my fam. This is when i take the time to get my second plate.

All the grown folk stay in the kitchen and catch up on life, while the kids and teenagers go chill in the basement with the tv.

I have no family here. Seems like my new thanksgivings will involve chinese takeout, a lil bhm and netflix.
I was invited to Thxgiving dinner with a sorta-friend, but she was getting on my nerves and one of my ex's will be there. I told her that I was working a double and couldn't make it.
My sisters and brothers typically spend Thanksgiving with there s/o's family.
