LOL I'm the same way but pretty much forced myself into it! I hate not wearing my hair loose but after a month got used to it.

 Hi there

I can't believe the month has come and gone so  quickly. Let me get straight to the point and post my before and afters, I retained a quarter to half an inch (finally! b/c I was stuck at the same length for the longest)

The next protective style is twists and I am loving them so much better than braids. It took about 4 hours to complete.

your hair looks great, thelurkingkind!

i just took a break from my mini twists for about a month - i wore a bun the entire time.

i would love to commit to this challenge, but since this is the first time i am showing my face around these parts in months, i can't honestly say that i would be a good participant.  but, i will be in twists so count me in as a sort of participant.  :-)

while in twists, i moisturize every other day with water, darcy's leave in, and jbco.  i wear twists for about 4 weeks at a time and then take down, steam, shampoo with homemade poo, detangle with suave/vo5, dc with my home made dc, apply my darcy's leave-in and aphogee protein spray...then twist back up with jbco and sheamoisture dt masque.

i will try to post a pic soon!

This week I'm rocking a high bun on top (where else right? Lol) and a french braid in the back.
