i didn't read the whole thread. but her boyfriend joked about natural hair being the 70s, and that it is only appropriate for men to have natural hair. OP thinks that his male black friends have a lot to do with his opinion right there.
people told OP, well they don't believe it was a joke. that he is white, and wants to have a slave/massa kind of relationship with you. (the far out stuff). but for the most part, some gave her genuine advice about how he is showing his true self through this joke and that she should rethink her relationship with him.
the black guys on bhm got mad because they perceived this as her/swirlers throwing black men under the bus to make her boyfriend seem like the victim.

Sex slave? I think you guys are confusing me with another poster and I poofed because I'm kinda busy right now and I don't have time to keep responding and my question was answered and the tread went all the way to the left which wasn't a surprise.
My bf isn't racist. I don't look down on black men, and I'm not ending a relationship over one comment that was made that we talked about, yes it could be a warning sign but I'm not ending things with him over it.
