Once you do the crack file, everything else is very easy...it's just that if you're on a mac, there's an extra step that PC users don't have to do.

I found that I had to do two file conversions on the language links.

RAR --> ISO
ISO --> DMG

RAR --> ISO isn't possible through the disk utility app. So I had to download the program "UNRarx" to do that conversion. Then drag & drop the ISO files into Disk Utility to turn them into DMG files.

Once you have dmg's just double click and they'll auto install. To get RS to work, it needs to be already installed and then it'll prompt you to install language packs...which it will auto find AFTER you've opened the dmg files for each language.

To replace the crack file on a MAC (taken from the warezbb thread):

Any insight on how to open this with a mac? Can't seem to figure it out.

EDIT: figured it out: 1. Open Rosetta Stone Setup.dmg

2. Run the Update program (despite its name, this will install a fresh copy as well as updating existing versions) and install Rosetta Stone

3. Once installed, copy mdm.dat from the Crack folder to /Applications/Rosetta Stone Version 3.app/Contents/Resources, overwriting the existing file.

(You can do this in the Finder by right- or control-clicking on the Rosetta Stone Version 3 application and selecting Show Package Contents, and going to the Contents and then the Resources folder.)

I finally figured it out! Took me an hour but now I have Japanese and Korean Rosetta Stone! ^_^

Edit: It took me an hr because I'm on a Mac so I had to do a lot of converting to get the files to open on my computer and had to download programs to convert the files into readable ones for a Mac.

Hey Alias. I never saw this post, my apologies for being late. Did you ever figure it out?

Basically you have to mount the language pack and then go back to the actual Rosetta Stone program and install.

Remember, when we're mounting a disk, we're "pretending" to run it without needing an actual CD-ROM disk. The computer thinks its running a disk.

Replace the cracked file
Go to disk utility > convert the languages from .iso to .dmg

Load rosetta stone and add the languages.
