branched off?

anyway today I learned how to simplify fractions, which was relatively easy.

Does it count if I branched off?]]>

i like math but nah, that ish is da debil

I think I got a mental block as far as math goes. I just could never focus or retain it for too long. basic algebra was too hard to grasp.

between the algebra and calculus

but when will i ever have to figure out logs and inverse fractions again?? never

Failed all but one college math course and I barely passed that one. Math is the bane of my existence. If I wasn't so great at other subjects I would swear to goodness I have some kind of LD.

]]>

My working knowledge at this point is calc 1. I could probably relearn differential and partial differential equations pretty quickly but I haven't even thought about that kind of math in 10 years even though I used it every day in graduate school. ]]>

Algebra 2. Never went higher since I didn't go in higher sciences, but it's all cool.]]>

I was afraid of my math . My nursing school dose calculation course all most kiilled me . I have never used that method in my entire career. I would grade myself as a C+ at best . Algebra level .

I was do worry about my daughter . Third grade is no joke today . Multiplications, fractions etc .

Thank God her father is a engineer .

I teach SAT so pretty much that. I've never needed to learn pre-calc or calculus.

I love math activity books...there's something so calming about doing math problems.

]]>

Calculus 3 and it was excruciating. I failed calculus 1 2ce. The 3rd time the professor just felt sorry for me and gave me an A.

]]>

that you actually know, as in fully understand and can execute math problems with? algebra? calculus? something I never heard of?

truthfully im at like a 6th grade level, which is pretty much basic arithmetic. I just even had to refresh my mind on how to do long divison . im doing some self education and will get to an algebra level. theres alot of web resources and youtube vids so im coming along nicely.
