Never pop a pimple with your finger


Use a sterilized needle or bobby-pin to puncture the pimple so that you don't cause trama (and thus, scarring) to your skin

I know that the usual medical advice is to never pop a pimple but that just doesn't work for me. If I don't get the crap out, the pimple will never disappear. I ended up with a pimple scar because I tried to follow this advice and wouldn't pop it.

sounds like rosacea. go  see another derm and tell them to test for that.

I haven't experienced that, but I can tell you that chlorella, Evening Primrose Oil, and a lipoic acid supplements will probably clear it up. do you know how hard that is!?

any ways I went to the derm.. and she prescribed me some oral medication called minocycline and tazorac which is a topical ointment.. One cleans and cures from the inside... the other cleans and cures from the outside.

I've never had serious acne problems but for whatever reason I was breaking out...
The minocycline seems to work well... and I only used the tazorac once but my face is clear and I havent had any breakouts since.

Never pop anything on your face. The puss inside gets out can cause more bumps to pop up on other areas of you face it touches.
