I never saw this. 

Yes, I'm natural. Some parts of my hair are damaged form flat ironing so much.

I use kinky straight too! I use His & Her Kinky Straight with mink i think...very good. i've received no shedding or tangling! 

But I want to find the PERFECT hair to match with my curls. 

I've used Bohyme and that was just a mess. It seems like curly weaves are hard to manage but my natural hair isn't. I just need the perfect hair to go with 3c/4a.

Thanks! I thought of something better.

I'll get my hair in flat cornrows and then use clip in extensions on top of them.

What do you think? That way I just take the clip ins off when I need to moisturize them...and to get braiding in cornrows I would like would be around $20-$30 every 2-3 months. much cheaper than weaves.

I also make my own clip in extensions. 

Ha gotta budget because of college :)

I think your goal is realistic but you will have to stick to your schedule..

Also make sure to moisturize your hair underneath the weaves
Take your favorite conditioner/leave in and moisturize your hair (not the weave)

Purchase 3 applicator bottles (the ones people color their hair with?
Put shampoo and water in one, conditioner and water the other and oil in another.
This is the best way to shampoo, condition and oil your hair.

Are you planning on going natural?

How long are these "breaks" going to be?

Are you planning in using a closure?

Yes, quality hair will do you good in the long run, you will be able to reuse the hair,

I leave my weaves in for 3 months for every install, and I have had no problems and I've been in back to back weaves for 20 months with no break

Natural looking weaves- GET A WEAVE THAT IS SIMILAR TO YOUR NATURAL TEXTURE!!!

Please please take that piece of advice if you listen to nothing else.
You will be so frustrated with blending.

So I just got my hair braided Thursday night in "invisible braids" as a protective style for winter. Two packs of hair cost 153 and the style cost 150. Took my money for Black Friday. So imagine how frustrated I am to find the hair has been falling out less than 24 hours later? I give this style 2 weeks, max. It's so upsetting and frustrating because I want my hair to grow long and natural. And also wanted to give my hair a break for winter since I'm so stressed in college right now :'(

So I'm just gonna go back to weaves. t's been at least 2 years since I last got one. I'd like to try to start wearing a NATURAL looking weave to grow it from earlength to MBL. i want to try to keep them in on a 2-3 month interval (correct me if that's not a good idea because it's been a while since I've gotten one). Are there any types of weave styles out there that offer a flat braiding style so that it looks undetectable and natural? Should I try out handtied wefts?  I may just get expensive good hair so I can reuse it. 

Here's my plan : 
Weave from December to February. 
Take it out, let the hair breathe, trim, etc. 
Weave from February to April. 
Take it out, breathe, trim, etc. 
Weave from April to June. 
Take it out, breathe, trim, etc. 
I may get a braid style for the summer (box braids, maybe?)
and so on until Summer 2014.
