I have just recently eliminated all my debt except my student loan, which I only owe about 10,000$ and I can say it is a wonderful wonderful feeling! I pulled my credit report and month by month I paid off everything that was delinquent. I paid off all the credit cards I obtained while in college, going on shopping sprees knowing good and well I wouldn't be able to afford the bill when I came, opening up cell phone accounts and not paying the bills, but I have finally paid everything off!

My credit is still suffering because I dont have many positive things on my credit report, except my car loan which is paid, and was paid on time every month, and my student loan which is being paid on time every month, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to start building my credit again?

Well, I have nothing new to post ladies, besides I'm still under mah weave, cowashing, and I've slacked off a little on the vitamins since I ran out of my Biotin.  Today I'm going to get some more.  I did buy two bottles of OCT and two of MT - so I think I'm set until March...maybe by then I'll hit full MBL...who knows....
 
I am working out like a fiend...cuz' I'm off until school starts up again on 11/16, and I'm sore in places I had forgotten existedLOL but I'm loving it nonetheless.

Talia do you growth aids work well for you? Got any comp pics? I've always been skeptical about growth aids!
 
Realistically Sellara, I don't think it is solely the growth aids, but the combination of ps, cowashing, and perhaps in some part the MT/OCT is making my hair stronger therefore my retention is better.  I noticed that when I didn't have my hair in a weave for two months, I had zero breakage - no little hairs, what I did do was shed, but those were long hairs with bulbs on them.  So the combination of the 3: the growth aids, ps, cowashing are helping me to retain more of my growth.  I don't know if I answered your question...
 
No recent growth comparision pics, since I've been under a weave since 9/26...and I won't be taking it down until 12/27, but here are the old ones:

My husband makes more money than I do. There is no 50/50 split because its our money. Mainly, my income is used for treats and extras for the family.

Now if you said they conspired to slow black women's length retention by encouraging the use of products and techniques that contribute to dryness, breakage, and scalp damage I might believe you. The bss's are stocked with products with ingredients that don't do anything for our hair and when used with limited knowledge cause way more harm than good as far as retention is concerned.
 
 
I wouldn't think their efforts would delineate between growth or retention, just in how to keep women purchasing weaves, etc.  And the point about products that have ingredients that don't do anything for our hair goes along the same lines.  Petroleum products are cheap so they load up the BSSs with them and slap the word "gro" on it.  All I know is that Surge and ApHogee were found in most BSS, but as soon as they gained popularity on the hair boards, they were pulled or had a change in their formula.  It just seems a little too suspicious.
