I bought the cowboy magic.. It worked for a good day and 1/2 with flat ironing. but if I dont flat iron it - she becomes the crazy again by the evening. This will always be my problem child! I feel like literally beating the thing- lol!<DIV>I will try one more bleach bath.. seriously.. im so mad at this point. I did purchase from a chinese vendor- whom i sent the request for thier advertised price for chinese remy lace front processed to kinky straight. I do believe that this hair is indian&nbsp;hair and horse hair- its gotta be.. THis is worse than any indian hair i have ever purchased... </DIV>]]>

So I thought it would be ok to find a thread that's similar and ask a question in it. If i were ordering from a CV and wanted a chinese, straight unit in medium brown but wanted the highest quality hair could i say I want a chinese remy, straight unit? because if its been colored it can still be remy but no longer virgin right? I have looked around and have found that chinese virgin, completely uncolored hair is black in color, so if I want a medium brown chinese I cant buy a virgin remy chinese unit because it would have to be colored? it would still be cutically aligned (remy) but no longer virgin remy? From what I have found out chinese vrigin, remy hair is bone straight anyway so all I will have to do is get it colored so that is not black/very dark brown?</div></div></td></tr></table><br><br>Yes, most CVR will be black/off black.&nbsp; However, you "should" buy a virgin unit to ensure that you can build your color from scratch.&nbsp; I do know that for reds and blondes, some will buy a color near the desired color and tweak the color themselves so as to not mess with a lot of bleaching.<br><br>If you want a medium brown, you can try a good hair color with 30 or maybe 40 volume developer.&nbsp; L'Oreal has a nice line of browns and I was able to lift an off black CVR to a milk chocolate brown with that line of color.<br>]]>

It contains Lactic Acid and tames the beast without loosening the kinky straight texture.<br><br>I have used gallons &amp; gallons of Cowboy Magic over the years and love it, but this Dove Nutritive Oil Therapy is my current love for unruly afro &amp; kinky texture units.<br>]]>

It's odd that yours is poofing....chinese normally does the opposite. I would say wash and condition with Dove products follow up with an ACV rinse, a dab of virgin coconut oil while it's wet. Let it air dry and then flat iron. You should be good to go after that. HTH]]>
