I'm not gonna lie, I wash once a month at best sometimes because I get so busy. And honestly, the less I wash my hair, the better it grows. I literally went from mid August straight through to late October completely PS'ed with flw's. And I had my actual hair in twists under a cap. I would moisturize my hair and such, but I didn't wash it. Part of it was because I was traveling half the time and I didn't have time to do all that.

Thanks Swift and everyone else for your input, I will probably try it that way instead. I cannot tell a lie, that whole leave your hair and don't do isshh for a whole month sounded good. LOL

Thanks for posting, Tatee.  And IA w/you, my hair loves water too much to try that or some of her practices.

But the way she finger detangled her hair is the way I do mine weekly.

A month? How? Like she just wraps the edges with saran wrap and keeps it on throughout the entire month without taking it off? Even while she showers sleeps and manages the rest of her hair? Sorry I can't view the video on my device.
I noticed when I was very consistent with using castor oil on my edges and nape daily, they grew out like magic. Then I stopped and it all went to the dogs. i baggy as well, and it seems to really help to retain my growth. Plus, i'm very clumsy when it comes to saran or cling wrap.   Ouch

As for shampooing the hair once a month?  That's quite alright.  If i did that, plus working out?  The smell would precede me 15 mins. before i've even entered the gym.

Hi there

So I'm surfing on youtube and ran into "sistawithrealhair" whose hair is just gorgeous Shocked

She tried out the saran wrap method on her nape, it's a protective style which entails oiling dry hair  (ends only) and then wrapping it with saran wrap......for 1 month.  Her results seem pretty darn good to me but wanted to see if anyone has tried this with success.
