Ladies, this stuff is the truth. I picked it up yesterday at Bath and Body Works and applied it as I was leaving the store, and I could tell right away that it was going to work. I got the one in the dark green tube - the ultra - and it gives a very noticeable tingling from the mint, a great shine (a bit too much shine for me - my lips are already huge enough lol), and it is very creamy and not thin at all. It lasts for hours, so I don't have to re-apply as often. 
 
 
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh goodie!!!!!!  i'm glad it worked out.  and yes...this is, in fact, the stuff that mama tc bought me so many years ago to help a sista out with her crusty azz lipz LOL...i checked with my friend who i know used the same stuff at one time and she also confirmed.
 
what threw me off is that mama tc got it from marshall fields (now macy's...and i know it was once availible at other dept stores) but that was so long ago that we (my friend who also uses it) concluded that bath and body works must have bought them out at some point in time...Smile
 
i am definately going to pick some more up this weekend!

There's a light green tube that has a lower peppermint oil content. Organic got the dark green and that one (at least for me) was like Shocked

Happy4b, there were about 7 different types of the lip balm that were in different flavors. I'm not sure if they all have the peppermint oil (the burning stuff). Hmmm...

Someone who knows my struggle. I love biting off the dead skin - as exceptionally gross as that is. When my lips are smooth, I haven't got anything to bite, so they look nice Big smile. Let one flake of dry skin show up and I'm chomping like it's my last meal. Sometimes it tears into the healthy flesh and that hurts like heck.

you know what can be a cheaper remedy, is getting sugar and vasaline and rubbing your hands with it for about 30 sec. or so. Then wash it off with soap and warm water. Your hands will instantly feel soft. Please update us if any of these workThumbs Up

Was it part of the actual sephora line? If I find a pic of it, I'll post. It came in a silver pot and it's a creamish color. Very light to put on and has a tingling sensation when applied.

My fave lip balms that actually moisturized & kept me from biting from left to right:

Sephora super nourishing lip balm - $5!!
Sugar lip scrub & their minor tint (I got them as samples in my birchbox but avail at Sephora)
Palmers Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick (I'm always losing this and buying more - it's my go to)
EOS Lip Balm - this is the sweet mint flavor but it's smells (& tastes) super yummy and is avail at Duane Reades/Riteaids, etc.

 girl, i know how you feel, and my lips are the first thing people notice about my face so i get self conscious about them if they get dry and then i lick them Ouch
I use the sugar/olive oil/honey scrub on them and follow up with maybaline baby lips lip balm and then a healthy coating of vasaline once/twice a week and maintain with the lip balm during the day and then vasaline at night.
i get lazy sometimes though Sleepy

well i wouldnt say temporary but you should try to develop a routine out of it. Almost like everytime u get out of the shower, you would lotion your body, you could do the same with the scrub or vasaline or whichever method you choose to do.
