Yes normally that's how it is depending on your command, but there was a conflict of interest, I'm an MA/MP at the Naval Hospital, vandalisms started to take place on MA's/MP's cars because of the citations we give, granted our names are also on our citations of course, we live and park our cars where the corpsman park their's, so they basically gave us the option to move off base, and also Walter Reed Army hospital joined with us, and a lot of the wounded warriors had to use our barracks, so with over manning of the barracks, and the vandalism issue, we seen and upside and our CO approved us to receive BAH and move out in town[/QUOTE]

When it comes to being in the military if you and the roommate aren't single it is not a good idea. When I was station on sea duty. I decided to room with one of my coworkers which wasn't a good idea. We had problems in our first apartment. Went on a deployment came back and decided to room again. Well I learned my lesson the hard way. Just get your on apartment. It's less of a headache trust me.
