MY HAIR IS COMING BACK!!! I'm so happy! I went back to making my own oils and moisturizers, and keeping it in sew ins. I had a sew in from January to the beginning of March. I took it down and saw my hair and was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! THANK YOU! So I wore it in a bun for a few days, and put it back in a sew in. I'll be in this bad boy until May! Steaming has been my friend too. So I'll be investing into another steamer after this sew in.

HEY PEEPS! I have been wearing Cleo straight for the colder months and I have been enjoying wearing her out. But, I still throw her in a bun every now and again. Today, I wore her in a semi- messy bun and rec'd a lot of compliments.

Since, I have been wearing her out so much, I think for the remainder of the month, I'm going to wear her in some cute buns or updos. I have a whole bunch of new headbands and hair candy, so I think that I need to show them off with some updos.

I took my yarn twists out yesterday and washed my hair once with the aphogee deep moisture shampoo and twice sally's version of the nexxus moisture shampoo. I deep condition with the shea moisture deep conditioner masque for about 30 min under the dryer then I left it in overnight. I washed it out this morning and proceeded to flexy rod my hair with the aunt jackie's curl la la.

Here are the results. I haven't separated the curls yet

Well ladies, I've been doing well w/my PSing since the beginning of the year.  I began by rocking small twists and then went to cornrows and wigs for a couple of weeks.  Last weekend, I did my blow out and I plan to rock that for two weeks.  I hope I can make.  I miss good smelling hair :(

I know it's been awhile but these are my pics of hair since I first started this challenge  Oct 2011.  I did take these today.  I twist my hair at night and put in puff the next day.  Hair is longer...Smile  Just wish it was thicker..oh well.  Would appreciate any new ideas for doing my hair.  I do have thin and fine hair.  I only do this puff 99.99% of the time. Thanks!!..

I trimmed about an inch to an inch and a half off my ends in January for my major trim of the year. I have been in yarn twists since Jan 4 and plan to keep this set in till March 4. heart your ps's, amanda kay!  they look awesome!

i am still in smaller twists. i am thinking of just redoing them and making them bigger/smaller from now through july.  so, that would mean no combs and not having my hair fully out for 6 months.  i don't use combs much now - only to detangle once a month - and my hair is typically all out for only a couple of days each month when i take out and put a new set of twists back in, so we'll see how this 6 month personal challenge goes!

They're all uparts. I use a mesh dome cap. I sew the tracks the normal way...going across. But I normally reserve the tracks at the crown and around the U for volume. Could you either pm me or post what you use to make your wigs (are they uparts/half wigs and what type of cap you use)...i have been trying to pefect my wig making abilities but my kinky curly is always an utter fail

They're wigs! I prefer sew ins, but with the breakage I opted for wigs. I make them though.

I found a picture of my hair when my breakage was bad. This was in January of 2012. I haven't taken full head shots since then. My hair just isn't what it wad before.

All these gorgeous heads! I'm just going to cry! Everybody left me behind! !!!

I haven't been around a lot, but I got some nasty breakage from birth control. I think stress was coupled with that (and continued stress :-/) I've been babying it back. I think my hair is shorter than it was last year :-(

Here's an idea and it's grown. I should be happy because it was 2.5 - 3 inches long. This is throughout my entire head. I'm thinking about doing a mini chop.







And this is the last picture I took of my hair. It just looks pitiful. This is my ponytail.


At least I have edges!
