Samone, I'd say it depends if you're investing in something you want to keep a while or if you paln to only use it a couple of seasons and change up often. we do, but we are fee simple

our HOA fee pays for trash pick up and keeping the landscape up (adding trees - we have three trees now lol, etc...)

my MIL tore up her grass and put down gravel everywhere. It was so pretty.  I'm assuming you don't have a HOA tho lol.

I'm like that too...

but it really looks nice though.. and would fill up a lot of space if you had a large patio. My parents have lots of patio furniture but they just like to  stretch out on it. Unless its freezing cold outside...they are usually out of the deck on the weekends.
