I'm thinking of trimming off the front of this..... BAD IDEA?? will I ruin my closure?

I want to apply it behind my hairline a little bit and that little piece in the front makes it look odd....

The closure looks fine. If the density was lower then it will look bald. Hi yes I had this issue some years back. I had some goo gone in a can highly flammable and the smell was highly toxic so use it in a well ventilated room. If you Google 510queen closures pu strip on all sides and click on images you'll see the pic of the exact product.   But any who I soaked the front edge until it was real soft and got some tweezers and started peeling away. That goo gone ate through the pu strip. Also you might wanna do an inch on each side so when you place the closure it won't show on your forehead.

Try to see if you could remove the pu strip on the front of the closure. The hairs in the front are baby hairs- next time say no baby hairs. As for the closure, you will need to train the closure. babes don't freak out, wash it first. You would be surpirsed how it would turn out after washing it. Even if its bulky after you wash it then bring out your tweezers and start plucking. I normally ask for 60% in the front and 80% throughout for my closures. CV'S neva eva eva eva bleach your knots unless its an AV. sorry babes.

Why did you request the PU strip on all 4 sides? Its supposed to only go on 3 sides. You may have to contact 510queen and ask how to remove the PU from the front. I think there's a thread somewhere where she explains how to remove it with acetone...Don't quote me on that!!  You need that hair coming forward in the front... Its supposed to be the baby hair. I usually leave just a tab bit of the baby hairs in the front to cover the tip of the lace. My issue is why did they ventilate through the PU??? Normally the ventilate the lace then add the PU strip afterwards which makes it easy for you to remove the PU if you want to. HTH's

My leaveout has been going through the works lately, so I decided to try my first closure.

I ordered it from worldclassbeautywigs.com and it was supposed to be "custom"

It is 16" virgin indian natural wave (seems ok... can take a hot iron/hold curl)
4x4 swiss lace medium brown 


I don't know how I feel about this closure. I paid I think $106 for it including shipping. I asked for the knots to be bleached but they arent.... my BIGGEST GRIPE is that hair coming forward on the front. I HATE it. For you closure pros, is that supposed to be there? Can I cut it off without ruining it? 

I asked for swiss lace, but for some reason I don't think it is.

took exactly 12 days to come. Rating thus far: B- What do yall think? 

Can I make this to how I want it?
