have you struggled?
overcame some obstacle?
are you the first generation of your family to be born in the US?
why do you deserve the scholarship?
what do you plan to do w/ yourself after receiving your education?
how will you influence others?

these are things that helped me snag scholarships when I was a young buck.

i used to find some inspiring quote and then write around that...schools were always suckers for that

I wrote a 250 word scholarship essay for a scholarship that is being sponsored by my school.  Could anyone give me some pointers, critiques, or help?  I just need someone to critique it.  Please PM me.
