Box braids are your friend  Get a good braider to do large box braids and you could be wearing them for 2-3 months at a time. Large ones don't take long to do, unbrading will be a breeze and combing afterwards will be pretty easy too. By large I mean making the partings large. Some people use large to mean thick/heavy. I have been transitioning for a year.But with a 30 hr work week plus school  My hair is already too much for me to handle, but I refuse to get a relaxer and im trying to wait out my big chop so my hair wont be terribly short. I'm considering a texturizer even though that means I wont be Natural.
