Yes they almost got me, but BHM saved me. They should not be charging an arm and leg for some processed hair.

@weavenaked, I think most of us can learn about weaves by searching these threads alone. I don't understand why some post on a hair thread just to offer invaluable info. We don't need to go to your website to find out about quality hair extensions; we can get the info here. Wagmans, Indique, Bliss...honestly I've been outta the weave game for a while so I'm not sure if any newer vendors have been likable. I'm begging my boyfriend for some Indique Embarrassed

Please let me know how this hair turns out. I've been on the hunt for a new vendor and it seems like either no one is willing to help anyone out or they are trying to sell the hair themselves, ugh!!

I have also been eying the Valencia Rose but 2 reviews will not convince me to spend that much money on some hair.

Back in my weave days (maybe 2 or 3 years ago) I would always purchase hair from Hair-Ex as well as my sisters. I was a fan of their Malaysian hair, I absolutely fell in love with it and I spent at least $500 on 8 oz or at least they told me it was 8 oz; but the hair quality was superb. It did not tangle, at all, and shedding was maybe a strand or two here and there. After my first install with the hair I went back to purchase another 4 oz bundle that was about $230 I think. Anyway, sew-ins started to break off my hair (because of my lack of care and knowledge) so I gave away all of my bundles to my sister about a year ago.. Cry

I wish I would have kept that dam* hair!!!! I never curled it I always wore it straight and I had no problems. I did wet the hair and braided it for a wavy look and the waves would stay as if I had bought some wavy hair. To me this hair was superb. My sister still uses the hair I gave her mixed in with some Sassy Mitchell hair. She hates the Sassy Mitchell hair. My sister is also a hair expert you can check her out ( google Jazzy McBee)

Also my oldest sister purchased the Hair-Ex curly, she used it and then I borrowed the hair for a quick sew-in and that hair curled so perfectly using no product. I wet it and the curls were just beautiful. No matting, tangling, shedding, none of it. Since I am back to wearing weaves now I am trying to get my oldest sister to send me the hair in the mail but she's playing games.

IMO I would look into Hair-Ex but their prices are expensive and they closed dwn all of their Atl shops I think. Sassy Mitchell (Eurasian) is similar to Chinese Hair (IMO), it tangles, and the crap sheds. How do I know this, because my friend is the seller of the Eurasian line (google Eurasian Hair Atlanta and her shop will come up) and they sell the same exact hair except my friends hair is slightly cheaper. And no, I am not a vendor for her or trying to give her any extra business b/c that bish charges me the same prices as everyone else. So if I'm going to pay $350 for some hair (Eurasian) I'll just spend it on better quality. I have pics of the Eurasian if you want to see it... its okay but its not that great. I am in need of a new vendor as well.

I also have pics of the Hair-Ex also. I took the pics a while back so idk if that'll do any justice for you plus I'll hv to search for the pics too. Hope this helps

Generally if there aren't any posts or reviews, I'd steer clear. Im not saying they aren't legitimate, but I'd definitely stick with vendors that are well known for their quality. Hi there. I know I have a brand new profile..but I used to be a very active years ago. I only buy indian virgin curly hair. So my pursuit for perfect hair is probably different for others who like different texture.

Bliss has beautiful hair. It cost a lot. I haven't bought for awhile..but their prices on their website USED to be by the oz not the bundle. I don't know if that's still true, but I only bought Bliss on occasion because of the high price. But I LOVED this hair. I am latino, so I loved how it blended in my hair. I know others sometimes complained it was too high a luster.

I don't think Brazilian hair REALLY exists. I believe it's probably just a texture. Since I hate all hair that is steam textured or processed...I avoid all Brazilian hair. I believe it's a marketing ploy..because it sounds sexier or something. lol I do know back years and years ago, there was a woman in Peru that actually sold gorgeous peruvian hair. It was REALLY from Peruvian women. She had before and after pictures of the ladies hair she cut. The hair was awesome. However, her business only lasted a few months and she wound up d*cking a bunch of people out of money. She sent me 2 gorgeous orders and the third order she just took my $400 and ran and never answered my emails again. She disappeared as quickly as she appeared in the virgin hair scene.

I tried VirginGlam. The hair was tolerable, but I'm pretty sure the curls were processed although they swore up and down they weren't. Personally I think there is something up with VirginGlam ...like they are pretending to be located in India when they are really in the states. Their shipping is wacked too. Do not try Hairol on ebay. YUCK!

I am also on the prowl for a new hair supplier. I have been using Indique and Wagmans and they always give me wonderful hair...but the prices just keep going up!

Chinese vendors seem to be all the rage now but the looks of the forum...but I just don't get it. I HATE chinese hair. I hate processed curls. Personally I think Chinese vendors who offer indian hair..by the cheapest indian hair and have to process it so it looks pretty. I'm all about INDIAN hair.

If you find some pretty virgin hair, keep us posted!

Hi ladies! I'm researching virgin hair companies, but I am not coming up with much of anything (only processed chinese hair). If price was not a factor, I would order from EP. But, unfortunately it is. I thought about Wags, but also saw a few threads on here that said that the quality went down (I guess there's a risk involved in every purchase, but I would like other options), & they are also just as high as EP for the lengths I am interested in.
