Hello ladies, i am coming to you all for your help! 

These past two years have been purchasing wigs from BLW . com. It was my first time wearing a full lace wig and i wanted to try it because i recently went natural and my edges are basically non existent Thumbs Down so i didn't want to deal with a sew in tearing my edges apart. My first wig was a chinese "virgin" yaki ( i know processed for texture) and it was really nice but since i was/am new to this it didn't last that long. My second wig got the same kind just longer and it held up so nice and i took care of it really well! The only thing is i wanted to go even longer so i purchased another. The same specs as the first two. After its wash the wig was terrible terrible terrible it was very tangly and had to be brushed every 5 minutes! i contacted BLW and they could not refund me my money and told me to purchase a silky wig from them instead of yaki because yaki becomes tangled... (whatever).. so my relationship with them is over.



BUT ANYWAYS....

each wig i purchased from them had no clips or combs so I have been using bobby pins to hold it down to the wig cap. My edges have not grown and i actually think they have gotten worse because of the bobby pins. 

My help from y'all is to help me decide whether or not to get a full lace wig from a different vendor or to just buy bundles with a silk closure which is more beneficial for my edge growth?

PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

dang sorry it was that bad ...hope you get your money back..i dont purchase the extremely curly because if you dont use product on a curly it will poof and mat up quickly unless you use water which will dry the wig up very quickly...any picturesWink

smh.  I hate to say it but quality has gone down.  They used to be my go to.  Produced the most beautiful units.  Even their stock densities were a realistic 65-70%. And their prices were excellent. *sighs* but...ever since YT reviews....prices went up, density went up to 100% at the hurrline....quality went straight to the sh*tter.  I last purchased from them was 3-4 years ago...right before quality control went down.
 
I'm sorry to hear about your unit.  It always hurts to spend that kind of money and can't even get a decent unit that last anytime.

Not to discount your experience but I have 2 from them so far and just ordered a third.
No complaints on my end for the most part*. I did experience some matting with my first one but only after many months of use and washing it with (shampoo) which I didn't realize was a no-no. So I can't say they are 2 blame. Meanwhile, my 2nd one has been dyed BLONDE twice and is still going strong!

*I did notice a difference btw my two units though. The 18in had a much higher density than my 22in. Both gorgeous but the 22in ended up being easier to work. When I inquired about the varying density I got a lot of push back. I left it alone and fortunately the lessened density worked out to my favor but I do kinda give them a side-eye for that.

But I have different experience. I purchased one glueless full lace wigs Yaki from bestlacewigs.com. The hair is smooth and doesn’t get super tangled. It looks very natural. I love it very well.

Hi Ladies


After much consideration on where to spend my hard earned money for a nice xmas unit, I decided to try the BLW water wave unit.

I ordered and spent about $270 for a 22" #2 unit. It came after 3 days and looked normal. I tootsie'd it and wore it for about a day and then it BEGAN.


Ladies this hair turned into straw! I have never seen anything tangle and mat so quickly. I tried everything to take it but it wouldn't work. It was clear the indian remy was not cuticle aligned and a low grade of hair. AngryAngry


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT spend your money here. They may seem like a deal, but you get what you pay for. 
Take my experience as a warning and spend your money ELSEWHERE.


I am currently in a dispute where they asked me to send the wig back and after spending over $0 to do so, no refund yet!


I will keep you all updated but I am BEYOND furious.
