But what if, in your lace part, you cut a tiny u shape (like half a finger nail) at the very edge. Being able to use those few strands of your own hair as a microscopic 'u-part' wuld surely minimize this line of demarcation by like 80%.

I still think I'd use tape tho, I hnstly keep thinking 'what if it gets caught in the doors when I'm getting off a bus or something and it just gets pulled off?!'. Basically, I'm mixed race and used to have long curly hair which would look really nice when it was styled or straightened, but would turn into a sweaty mess whenever I went on a night out; this defeated the purpose of having it, as that's the time I wanted it to look it's best! That's why I've decided that wearing a lace wig behind my hairline that mimics my natural hair (curly or straightened) may be an excellent idea for when I go out and want my hair to still look nice.

I've done some searching on this forum but haven't found much on behind the hairline apps, only a few posts. How many of you on here wear your lace fronts behind your natural hairline and what advice can you give to someone who wants to start? Any info/pics/tips you guys can give would be super appreciated. I hope to get some good responses! xxxxx

I know your interested in lace wigs but have you ever thought of a U Part wig?
