How are you going to school for free? Not trying to be rude or catty or anything, I'm just genuinely interested. I start PA school next year, and I've already explored different options of paying for it to minimize as much debt as possible. I've already cut down about half of it, but it's cool that you're going to school for free.

Well, I will only be going to school for free if I get admitted to a California public university or to a school that has a yellow ribbon program. It's all military benefits...but of course, I'm banking on a scholarship! I was just being an a$$. Now is the best time to go. Due to the dramatic decrease in applications, you can get into a better school with a lower LSAT score. I'm sure you did fine. If not, retake it. It is important to go go to a top tier school. Law school isn't like med school where just going makes you somebody. Where you go matters a lot. If you are going solely for the love of studying the law, then follow your dreams.  I don't practice but still believe that law school was on of the best decisions I ever made.

Investment wise, the law market is doing poorly so it likely won't improve your job prospects.
