I order from Jacksun once a year , usually around this time of year. I am about to order soon, actually.. a 14" Brazilian wave stock unit. Anyway, my other two purchases were customs and I didn't have any issues. My 1B did seem a bit lighter than I expected for the second purchase, but it wasn't major at all. I think the problem in your friend's situation is just the fact that they ignored her request after she saw the picture. I highly doubt the crimps will come out of your friend's wig after some washes. My two units are Italian Yaki units & I wash them. Neither of them lose their crimps [they actually crimp up more with water] unless I put heat to them.. even then, they still have an African-American texture [I love my units, so I am not complaining when I say that!]. I think if she just wants to work w/ it, she'll have to get a hair straightener. It doesn't take long to run it through. Friend wants to buy straightener but if the crimps will eventually soften she wont bother...

Yeah, I ordered custom from him back in the day. It was fine. Not sure what's going on with his company now.

My friend just 'big chopped' so she really needed a wig fast. They mailed out the package after pickup time so she was desperate. She just needs to get those crimps out of the hair and it should be OK...hopefully Confused

I did ok with Jacksun.. but that was a while ago; from what I hear, afraid to try him again.  The hair wasn't all that great.. but at least I got what I asked for.

I just received a custom from Enoya; Bruce was really easy to work with.  They gave me EXACTLY what I asked for!  (rare these days; esp. for me and my thick @$$ density requests LOL).  I'll report back in a month or so how it holds up for me.

Enoya Lace Wigs is a CV, and they're great with service and quality. Yes, they asked me to do a review for them, but I wouldn't lie to anyone about it (before I even did a review, people wanted to know who my CV was and it's always been them). They have an aliexpress store. But you can also order from them through e-mail and get $15 off when you mention "YouTube"Smile

I think she's going to work with it. She doesn't want to deal with them again. She asked for a light yaki #2 and received a full on yaki #1b with crimps in it.
They actually sent a picture of a yaki 1b unit and asked if it was too yaki. She said it was way too yaki and she asked again if they could just please send her the light yaki in #2.  They agreed but looks like they ignored her and sent the crimpy yaki anyway Confused
It even has a 1b tag on it.

I WARNED my friend not to order from his company...but she got screwed too. The sent HER a different color AND texture than what she requested. 

This shouldn't be so complicated! It's a stock wig. Just happy she didn't do Western Union like they requested.
