listen love, i dont need a lecture on psychology. i merely stated that there is a name for this or for processes similar. you then went on to say that its a pseudoscience possibly dangerous (which i agree with, esp rebirthing because there is no safe way to do that), but to discount it merely because its a new school of thought (less than 5 yrs or so) based on what "leaders" in the field suggest is a bit premature. after all, leaders in science also disputed the world was round

This boy and his sister are just too cute. They could model. Atleast he will have plenty of pics of his childhood from now on with his mom being a photographer.

we had a thread on this (a mom who adopted an older child and  tried to re-enact the birth because the child wasn't bonding with her); rebirthing.

yeah

its like reenactment therapy only this is done for processes that have been missed between two individuals to foster bonding

the s.o is the specialist child therapist i'll have to ask her when she gets back from her trip

It seems it was kind of done tongue in cheek. The boy said he was laughing the whole time.  It seems the mother might be using the photos to advance the cause of adopting older children.  I don't really see the harm in that, esp since most older kids who are up for adoption are black.      He seems happy and well adjusted.
