I made one yesterday actually. I messed up and had to start over lol. BUT I FIXED IT! And it looks awesome. I was worried about what the crown looked like but my leave out will cover it.

LovesLace can you post a pic or describe how it turned out?

I am white and am having lots of trouble finding a closure in my color and texture that doesn't cost the earth. So what I was thinking of doing was making an invisible part closure with clips on it, and leaving out a little hair to cover that. I think it will look more undetectable than leaving my hair out over a regular weft because my hair is fine and tends to seperate, showing the track.

If I did this wouldn't I have to glue the actual wig to my head? I finished the wig btw. Why not just get a closure and attach clips to it???  It has been done on BHM before.  That way you can remove whenever you like. 

Thanks for the response. Well it's just some bss non remi Zury hair so I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. And I plan on closing the weave with duby hair and I don't know if closures come in that type of hair. But if it was hair that could be used for a long time I would def look into a closure.

There is nothing natural about an invisible part... They scream FAKE!!!  75% of the time they application is an epic fail.  And they can be very damaging to your hair.
 
Why not just get a closure and attach clips to it???  It has been done on BHM before.  That way you can remove whenever you like.

Has anyone ever tried this? The benefit being that if you only want to wear it for a little while and take it out then the only part wasted will be the part/closure. Do you guys think it will work?
