I don't even adhere to that, though, so as long as it's an hour and a half and under (even with rests), you should be fine. I go with my friend, so usually we use whatever machines are open next to each other and talk while we workout lol. I usually do everything in one day, so it's hard to fit it all in to an hour and a half. Although I try to go multiple days at a time when I can to work my arms one day, and butt the next.<br><br>I wish I could go to the gym more often, I'd hit my goal so much faster then!<br>]]>

I do take my time and rest between each excersize. I&nbsp;also incorporate additional excersizes like cable abductors and back extensions which I do not consider heavy lifting, especially when I need to kill some time if&nbsp;a machine I need is taken.&nbsp;I also end up chatting now and then. I might be overtraining slightly so&nbsp;I will back off a little, but it wont be much. Just enough to add some cardio.</div>]]>

Girl, that's no good, you're over-working your muscles! The optimal amount of time you should spend working out is 45 minutes to an hour, but I usually get so caught up having fun at the gym, I end up going for at least 1hr 15min. ;P But 2 hours just on WT is def too long. Try to cut back on it and see what it does for you maybe?<br><br>I started doing much heavier weights with lower reps, and it's helping me already (now that my body is able to absorb protein). I'm upping my weights every time I'm at the gym, on every machine! The hip abduction machine I'm somehow able to do it on 250lbs...I'm back at 40" AGAIN, and I really think I'm starting to move past that point again finally! My workout the other day made my butt and arms sore for the first time since hitting the gym! I'm now confident that I'll be at 42" NO PROBLEM by spring! Maybe I'll even be able to get a little bigger, too!<br>]]>

I really want to loose some more off my waist. I have been telling myself that I am doing a "bulking up" stage but I can never seem to eat enough calories for major growth. I am hoping that the new mass gainer shake can help. I feel like I am always battling between wanting to eat and grow or reduce and slim my waist...<div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Anyways, for 2 hours I do my WT. I try to switch it up but I am doing 5-6 sets of 12 or until failure. </div><div>I am going through another faze were my patience is being tested. I feel like I am not growing and I worry about over training. But I always leave the gym worried that I didnt push my muscles hard enough, or I didnt have perfect form, or I didnt have muscle-mind connection enough, etc. I read stories about girls gorwing so quickly in 6 months and I have been doing this longer than that and I just want more result for the time and effort I out in. I just try to tell myself to give 110% and I will see results. I am grateful for what I have accomplished though. And I cant wait for my NB to arrive! </div><div>Take care :)</div>]]>

I joined in June and went straight to the weight section.&nbsp;I was on a mission and I realized, so was everyone else. Most, not all, are in the gym trying to hit goals as well so they are not 100% secure with themselves either. Within a week people would approach me and give me kudos or just make friendly conversation. Now that I am a regular, I have many friends at the gym including most of the trainers and staff there. The trainers have helped me along the way and given me advice and free sessions. <div></div>It has really become a <u>lifestyle change</u> for me and I think it is important for the other women on this site to realize that. I never thought I would be getting up early before work to go to the gym for 2 hours twice a week and every saturday. I year ago you couldnt pay me to get up before I had to be at work. It is <u>supreme dedication</u> to your body. I never thought I would be eating a clean diet, protein shakes buy the pound, chugging water, etc. etc. I used to eat whatever the hell I wanted. When&nbsp;I used to look in the mirror, I would feel like, "yea, you look good, but make sure you suck in your stomach all day. Maybe one day I will not have love handles." Then I realized, <u>only I can change my body</u>. So I did. The results I have sustained thus far have made me very pleased and I know I am capable of my dream body. I just keep pushing harder and harder telling myself to have patients. I have the best body I have ever had my whole life, and the only regret I have is that I waited this long to do it. <div>&nbsp;</div><div>*sorry for the long post* feeling inspired today....:)</div>&nbsp;&nbsp;]]>

I will def be reporting progress.<div></div><div>Natty-get your butt over to the squat rack and do squats...you will thank yourself a million times. I work out by myself every time and I am always in the weight section alone. I am now squating 185 and&nbsp;most of&nbsp;the weight training I do puts the guys to shame. There are even guys that ask me about things I am doing, and want advice. I even do my hip thrusts all layed out on the floor in the weight section. It is an invigorating feeling knowing your way around the weight room, having the knowlege, being confident&nbsp;and guys looking like...<img src="http://Forum.BlackHairMedia.com/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0" alt="Shocked" title="Shocked" />&nbsp; just walk around like you are the baddest bitch and no one can tell you sh*t. I'm finally really building muscle now that I have a gym membership, but I'm fluctuating between 39" and 40" on the day-to-day...don't know how that's even possible, or why it won't stay around 40". &gt;:(<br><br>I've been on and off sick, so I haven't really been to the gym much. FINALLY feeling better, so I'm gonna try to go at least 3 times this week to workout my butt. I've yet to do barbell squats because my friend doesn't want us squatting around a bunch of beefy guys LOL So I guess we'll do that on a day where we can go in after midnight. Still, the other butt machines are helping us a little, and my butt IS getting firmer at least.<br><br>Somehow my butt still doesn't get as sore as it used to after a workout, even when we just worked out here at my house with 10lb weights and 2lb ankle weights. Wtf?? Maybe I should be trying maca again once I can afford it after the holidays, that stuff always made my butt sore the first week of taking it, not even working out!<br><br>I stiiiiilllll hope to be a steady 40" by the New Year, and a steady 25" waist or less. ;) We'll see how this goes...Hopefully while I'm trying to lose fat from my midsection I don't end up losing it from my donk! D:<br>]]>

Going to finish my weight loss journey and get down to a pretty low body fat % so i can be a good personal trainer and hopefully have flat abs once and for all :-) it was fun being thiq this summer. My boobs dont respond to much besides NB and PM. Other stuff gives me swelling, but those 2 things account for all my growth from an A to C (and it seems to be a common combo among other ladies). But heres the thing, i took one bottle of PM as recommended and it started working within the first week, it continued to give me a lot of swelling through the 2 months i used it and the only reason i stopped is you cant use any soy or other phytoestrogens with it :/ its a lot tougher than you think, everything has soy in it!! Ok well thats my 2 cents :-) i would recommend it  to anyone who fits the criteria (no history of breast/ reproductive system cancers, blood clots, heart disease) and it really DOES work which is part of the reason why i tried it and stopped so i can use it later when my body is more detoxed and can adjust my diet better (ok sorry to talk about my experience so much, just want you to hear the real truth about it). There is a lot of debate about when you hit a plateau, but i think every 3 months you should cleanse. And the very first 3 months are probably going to give you the most growth so research, research, research to make sure youre fitting all the diet criteria.<br /><br />*cliffnotes for PM*<br /><br />•no soy<br />•no other estrogens<br />•take a progesterone supplement or rub Progesterone cream on you 2x a day, 14 days before your period to keep estrogen receptors open<br />•get extra calcium in your diet<br />•collagen will probably help to<br />•you can take it with Maca and it may increase your results !!!!!!! i found a thread on breastnexus.com confirming it &gt;.&lt; yaaaaay<br /><br /><br /><br />Ok and i can get into more detail but that is the basics. and you know im always here if you need more rambling advice &gt;.&lt;<br /><br /><br />Omg and about the PT thing :0 he probably has a special certificate to train injured/ disabled/ eldery/ youth/ group etc. Thats the only reason why i would think you would need to recertify so much and even then damn :( most of the schools ive seen say you need to retake the test for like $60-$200 every 2 years. But that is just for basic PT, im starting small :p technically you dont even need to be a CPT to train people its just for insurance purposes. America rocks !<br />]]>

I just had to get my little-booby angry rant out there <img src="http://Forum.BlackHairMedia.com/smileys/smiley9.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" alt="Embarrassed" title="Embarrassed" />&nbsp;And make sure to order the foam rings, b/c of the weight of the domes (dont freak out when you get them they are like half 2-liter bottle size) it really pulls on the circular area where the dome attaches and will give you ring marks. I've noogled pretty hard and had some issues with marks and indentations but nothing that lasted over a week. You basically just get a hicky :/ it happens if you leave the NB on too long with too much pressure. You will know early on if its right for you or not but im 99.99% certain you will love it <img src="http://Forum.BlackHairMedia.com/smileys/smiley31.gif" height="17" width="45" border="0" alt="Hug" title="Hug" />&nbsp;Ladies who have had kids or lost weight and have a lil extra fat/ skin tissue to work with get great swelling and IMO better results overall. You have all the boobage, NB just helps pump it up ^.^</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>and for extra cleavage you can take a scark and tie the domes closer together (once their on its only like 1 inch apart, not a huge difference) </div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>i experimented with noogling while laying face down with my upper body hanging off the bed, and arms resting on a chair (so basically my boobies where hanging off the bed with NB on). I got AMAZING swelling but really bad ring marks! The gravity helped but i needed to mess around with the pressure i guess :/ anyway HTH, there are so many random tricks and things you will figure out, everyone has their own way. And the best part is you can SNOOOOOOGLE (sleep and noogle). I would domy lunges on the smith machine with perfect lunge form and I wouldn’t feelanything in my glutes, only my quads. SO I modified my stance making it muchwider, this made my ass burn and I loved it. Even one of the trainers that Ifrequently talk with told me it was a terrible idea. I didn’t listen and I wasusing this stance lifting 145lbs and doing like 5-6 sets of 12. Really badidea. I then compounded the problem by adding back extensions, which are greatand I love, but it was too much for my lower back to take. <o:p></o:p></font></span></p><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"></font><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" ="Ms&#111;noSpacing"><span style="font-size: 10pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><font face="Calibri">Sincecutting those out, I have been much better and I am slowly getting back to my165lb squats. I only worked up to 145lbs today to take it easy. The mediums are only like 2-3 cm smaller than Large. I have been researching&nbsp;and watching&nbsp;videos like crazy, educating myself&nbsp;to trying and heal.&nbsp;I am staying true to no squats, deadlifts, or lunges and it is KILLING me! I will attempt to resume on Dec 6th. I have been doing weighted glute bridges (among other things) until failure. It was only like $45 for a 12lb bag (WHICH IS CRAZY CHEAP TO THOSE OF US WHO SPEND A FORTUNE ON PROTEIN POWDER) of Optimum Nutrition Mass Gainer...So I bought 2 bags.Im pretty pumped about it. :)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I was looking in the mirror at my butt, and I really have work to do....I will just not be satisfied until I am at 45''. So long ago now! But we both learned something and im a lot less quick to recommend any herb unless the person is already taking it and just needs advice. Im really excited for your new regimen :-) where are you getting all this info, is it just out of your own curiosity? Or a personal trainer? You took it like 6 months right?  dont be afraid to add cardio, i know ive said it a thousand times but try dance workouts on youtube! It really keeps you curvy and not too athletic looking. Also, maybe sprinting uphill would work for you? Like a short burst of sprinting may burn a lot of calories and help build your booty muscle, but its not prolonged aerobic exercise so it wont shrink your whole body. This is just my speculation, havent had a chance to try sprinting yet but it seems pretty effective for building your lower half<br /><br />whew im on my ipod feels like i have typed a novel ! You are always so sweet :) I may be at 41 but I am still at a 30'' waist. Im totes jelly of your waist. That is my main focus now. I was scared to reduce calories or add more cardio. I have reduced 3 inches on my waist without really targeting it. So I am hoping I will be able to widle it down some more with hard work. <div></div><div>I hope someone can use my advice about supps because I dont want to see anyone else do what I did and use herbs for almost 6 months and waste time and money. I am not saying they dont work for everyone because they can work for some, just not for me apparently. </div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I see since I have been gone you have continued to be an awesome role model. I have been working really hard to figure out why I hadnt gained any inches in 2 months. </div><div>I dug deeper and I finally got to a solid 41''.</div><div> </div><div>Start: 38-33-39</div><div>Current: 38-30-41</div><div>This has been in 7.5 months. I couldnt have better results had I known what I know now. But that is part of the journey.</div><div>I am fairly happy with my results thus far, but I am not stopping until I acheive my dream body. Which means like 45''.</div><div>Anyways, after ditching herbs completely...(I do miss my black maca and am considering adding that back into my supps) I decided to focus completely on lifting. And I learned SOO much more.</div><div> </div><div>If I can offer ANY advice to the ladies who are lifting heavy, please do not think that a single protein shake after a hard lifting workout is going to suffice. You are going to need at least 120g+ of protein daily. I also reccomend adding BCAAs, Glutamine, and Creatine to your supps DAILY. These are GUARANTEED to make your muslces bigger (along with proper calorie intake and lifting habits), unlike any herbs. DO your research on these. </div><div>REMEMBER: your muscles grow on your off days...so feeding them on your off days is JUST as important as your heavy lifting days. I was also not meeting my calorie intakes daily, and that is also equally important. I also want to remind you that your muscles are 60%+ of water so dont forget to drink tons of it to feed your muscles.</div><div> </div><div>Some bad news......I hurt my lower back and am now unable to do any of my deadlifts, squats, smith machine lunges, or back extensions for at least a month, if not longer.</div><div>Of course I wouldnt allow for this to be a block in my road. I hadnt integrated any weighted hip thrusts in my routine, so I have added those along with other modified excersizes. I am also going to focus on toning up my arms and losing another 2 inches off my waist.  </div><div>I cant deciced how low I want to drop my calorie intake, for fear of losing my precious gains. Thinking of adding Physio Burn.</div><div>I also did a 7 days cleanse and I feel like it might have been a waste. But I wanted a clean start to start my new supps.</div><div> </div><div>Current supps:</div><div>4g CLA daily</div><div>Vita pack daily</div><div>probiotic daily</div><div>Fiber Daily</div><div>4gs Fish oil daily</div><div>130g protein daily</div><div>60+oz h20 dailly</div><div> </div><div>Before workout: C4+5g creatine+5g BCAAs </div><div>During workout: 5g BCAAs</div><div>After workout: 75g protein shake + 5g glutamine and creatine (my protein mix includes bcaas)</div><div>Every night before bed:Protein shake + 2g glutamine</div><div>Off days: 5g creatine with food</div><div>              10-20g BCAAs inbetween meals especially in the morning.</div><div> </div><div>I know this is going to be years of hard work....but I am all in.</div><div>Good luck ladies!</div>]]>
