i understand why everyone is up in arms about this story. But they said they did it so their ancestors won't be upset and he did say when he gets older he wants to marry someone his age. And its only a ritual and not legally binded, 

I don't always feel like I have to understand everything that takes place in someone else's culture because I don't share it. Because its different doesn't always mean its wrong. The little boy kissing grandma is a bit disturbing but as long as there is no consummation, Im not all the way upset with it.
