Nope, no trainer. I joined in June and went straight to the weight section. I was on a mission and I realized, so was everyone else. Most, not all, are in the gym trying to hit goals as well so they are not 100% secure with themselves either. Within a week people would approach me and give me kudos or just make friendly conversation. Now that I am a regular, I have many friends at the gym including most of the trainers and staff there. The trainers have helped me along the way and given me advice and free sessions.
It has really become a
lifestyle change for me and I think it is important for the other women on this site to realize that. I never thought I would be getting up early before work to go to the gym for 2 hours twice a week and every saturday. I year ago you couldnt pay me to get up before I had to be at work. It is
supreme dedication to your body. I never thought I would be eating a clean diet, protein shakes buy the pound, chugging water, etc. etc. I used to eat whatever the hell I wanted. When I used to look in the mirror, I would feel like, "yea, you look good, but make sure you suck in your stomach all day. Maybe one day I will not have love handles." Then I realized,
only I can change my body. So I did. The results I have sustained thus far have made me very pleased and I know I am capable of my dream body. I just keep pushing harder and harder telling myself to have patients. I have the best body I have ever had my whole life, and the only regret I have is that I waited this long to do it.
*sorry for the long post* feeling inspired today....:)
