@ Talbott, that is a really good point to bring up about weight lifting! I totally forgot ._. It is really counter-productive to lift weights while on SP. I think it's important to still work those muscles and keep them buff, but its hard getting GROWTH. Forgot to mention i did not lift while taking SP, and in fact, After the 6 months, i stopped SP and switched to just powdered maca, lots of protein, and lifting. Both regimines are totally seperate and have different goals. Thank you again for sharing your experience, I'll edit my post to include that and you are right about buying better quality vitamins

*sends out smoke signal to Twisted Angel* COME BACK!!! i forgot to add a couple things im just coming home from work. It's still a good idea to do some kind of weight training of any intensity to keep your lower half strong and stop the muscle from getting smaller. Just shop around ebay and find something cheap, even two 20-30 lb dumbells will kick your ass. And if it's too much you can just use one. I really like the Kim K butt workout in 4 minutes on youtube i have yet to find anything that uses your body's resistence so well to build your bootay! And at the end of the day us women need to have some kind strength training in our routine to protect against bone loss and stuff hth if you need any info just shoot me a PM i'd be happy to help you out with a regimen or at least explain anything you arent sure about. But i know you are reading around here just as much as me :)

Been crazy busy with school and fell off the band wagon for a while, but I'm back =) Unfortunately I've gained a little unwanted weight I have to work on =(
First Day back in the gym, and wow my glutes are sore lol Didn't have too much time inbetween classes so it was a relatively short workout
15 minutes on the stair climber 3 sets of 8 deadlifts with the barbell 3 sets of 8 squats with the barbell 3 sets of 10 sumo squats with a 30lb dumbell 20 fire hydrants each leg with 2.5lb ankle weights 3 sets of 10 donkey kicks with 2.5lb ankle weights I haven't been working out in the past 4 weeks and its starting to show, I'm starting to lose the muscle mass I had worked so hard for >.< Any how, its time to get back on track and work towards being toned, trim, fit and healthy

So I gotta question for yall ladies.
Ok my booty the bottom is the biggest its 38.5 inches. Now the top of my booty is 36.5 inches. Now if the top measured the bottom my booty would be sooo round and look bigger. But I was wondering...
Has anybody tried applying a cream/volufine/fishoil/pm/BSC whatever to a specific part of their butt and only that part grows? Like if I tried volufiline for the top of my booty would that part grow?
just curious cuz I know when you use a cream it enters the bloodstream but I read it goes straight to the area you apply the cream on. And I apply volufiline on my hips and it works....
has anybody tried or at least thought about this just curious? |
I definitely think about it and try it. No results yet, but that's probably because I don't do it consistently. I'm usually too tired at night and fall asleep forgetting. Sometimes I put an even coating on, or sometimes I just do the top and the dents.

^^^^^ i tried rubbing Evening Primrose Oil on my hip dents like last year and it helped (among other things) to fill them out. I think applying it jus to one area works. hmmmmm now that i think about it when i rub progesterone cream on my boobs they get a lot fully instantly.

Wait, so why isn't SP good to take while you're trying to build muscle??? Should I be not taking it while gaining muscle, and then start again on it once I reach my goal and maintain??? I NEED SP now that I know how wonderful it is for me and my PCOS. =_= I can't see not taking it, but at the same time, I'd really love to be able to get a lot of growth as well...

well the only reason i know put that lil disclaimer is b/c another girl i was helping out took SP and weight trained and saw very little results. So we kind of realized its probably the SP lowering your testosterone levels, which in turn would make it harder to gain and maintain muscle......... HOWEVER...... i think its always good for women to lift for their lower body. Dont ever stop because at the end of the day that muscle will wither and no matter what shape booty you have, its gonna look better with some muscle under it :D But from my very own personal experience...... i didnt lift while on SP for 6 months so i honestly cant say whether it would affect muscle growth, im really just going off of what Talbott (bhm member) reported. immediatly after stopping SP i switched to maca, protein and lifting and grew muscle really fast and easily so i think it would be fine to switch back and forth if you wanted to. Some girls also take maca and SP together so you get the benefits from balanced hormones but can keep androgen lvls down if you have PCOS issues and other stuff Its really just a warning i put out there so other girls dont waste time, but everyones body is truly different so i would say keep using the SP to help your PCOS. Thats def the most important thing. wish i could provide a clear cut answer crapppp maybe once the new year hits i'll play guinea pig and see if SP + weight training really doesnt work. Until then just take care of yourself and stick with the SP, it'll help ALL of your results if you get insulin resistence under control (im trying to fix mine by cutting out all sugar FML). Keep up your exercise program and make sure to get enough protein<3 <3 <3 :)

http://www.foodnavigator.com/Science-Nutrition/Overeating-drives-fat-gain-at-the-hips-says-obesity-related-studythis study is from 2010, but i found it pretty interesting and detailed. Basically if you overeat theres a chance your body will create new fat cells on you lower body, while fat cells in you midsection just expand. Def worth a look if you are already bottom heavy. -i wrote this in the weight gain challenge, no responses but it seemed very interesting to meeeee. Adults can grow new fat cells in their legs as opposed to upper body as a defense mechanism against Diabetes. Wow our bodies want us to look hot we just eat to much sugary crap and it makes us all insulin resistent
