Love the Wonder Years. And the theme song.

yeah i love that song, i thought the theme was songs you learned from a tv show. |
I think I probably got mine wrong too. I wasn't sure if you had to discover the song or the artist from the show. I knew of Al Jarreau but not particularly that song. But I don't think CLCNY20 will yell at me. |
nah honestly, I think any artist/song you learned of from a TV show (whether theme song or no) applies

lol I know I'm halfway kidding. I did want clarification on the last one tho. Plus I'm bored at work and wish I could actually post the video.
This is fun nonetheless

Well, wrenching the heart out of sadness has only one meaning--when used in that context. The wrenching, in this case, means the excessive pressure/force used to pull said heart out of misery. It's like the effort of pulling the roots of a very old tree out of the earth, you know? Can't be "plucks" the heart from sadness, or "yanks" the heart from sadness--doesn't have the same poetic appeal. Could have been "pulls", but they wanted to be fancy
