Update: There was A LOT of build-up on my scalp and hair from the beeswax, so I washed. I'll have to limit my beeswax application to once a week instead of daily.

A recap of my washing process:
- Washed w/Black Soap
- Conditioned w/V05 MM
- Steamed w/Hooded Dryer, turbans, plastic caps, etc.
- Detangled w/Seamless shower comb
- Rinsed with cool water and rosemary tea

After washing, I dried my hair with a cotton tee for about 20 mins. Since my hair was still damp, I blow-dried it, alternating between the cool and warm heat settings. Then I oiled my scalp with WGO and cornrowed. Since my hair is almost always in cornrows under my wig, I decided to switch up the braiding pattern to prevent permanent parts...

your braids are gorgeous. those take me back to the nineties! it's rare to see braids anymore.

I'm going to be taking my vitamins, cutting out all heat,  and protecting style until the end of the year.

great! i'm doing most of what you said sans the vitamins. i'm thinking about giving biotin another go, but last time i took it for 45 straight days and the only difference i noticed was in my nails. this time if i attempt again i'm going to document, make sure it's not all in my head.

Hug from one scissor-lover to another!
It's okay, you can do it!
The only way i do a good job of keeping my hands out of my hair is when i've pinned it up into some kind of pinup style. i need to get back in the habit of doing that more consistently. i've tried the extensions, the wigs (purchased, anyway, never wore :( ) the minitwists or cornrows but i just can't stick with any of them for one reason or another. that's why i've been steering faaarrr clear of any of the protective style challenges i've been seeing Embarrassed- or at least those that don't grant you much room to get out of it or offset it somehow. My itchy scalp be callin me somethin fierce!

i haven't done the end dust in a minute but i'm keeping an eye out for splits. so far so good, but i do see places where some ends are trying to fade white a little on me. here and there, and i'm guessing they are the love children of previously broken hairs.

I might pick up some conditioner when I go to the store again.
I know this is weird to say because it hasn't been enough time to notice any growth, but I feel stagnant.Unhappy
Oh, I'm gonna try and stretch my wash to the 20th. I need to start spreading my washes longer.

it's not just you. it's been 2 and a half months since that trim i told yall about and my hair feel stagnant. it's weird because some parts reach my armpits already again...but other parts just feel like they're not growing because they're still a little before APL...so idk. we'll see in another few months i guess. i keep sayin i'ma stretch my washes and then i never do. my scalp starts callin.
