If you think emotional eating is inevitable (at least for now...) what worked better for me was I would plan it... If I felt like I needed to do some stress eating (lol) and just be sad for a day and get that out of my system, I'd pick my binge snack of choice and eat that and only that, that day. I found that if I picked the right snack and that's all I ate, I still didn't exceed 2000 calories. Not that stress eating is healthy or a great idea, but if it's something u need to do sometimes to cope, structure how you do it a little. If you want to binge on chocolate, wash it down with water instead of sodas or juice etc.
And promise yourself to get in that gym and take off some calories the next day or the day after. A trainer explained it to me before that not only can calories be calculated for daily increment for losing weight, but a weekly increment, and if you say consume 1500 less calories a week, that's minus a pound a week (don't quote me... but that's the idea). So in a way, it doesn't matter where you place your calories or workout days as long as you are eating a certain amount and burning a certain amount (obviously keeping in mind sugar and carb intake fluctuates how you gain and maintain).
So eat your candy...just not everyday.. but the next day eat salads and fruit. If I know I have a outting with friends coming up and we are gonna 'go in' on some good eats, the day before and after I'll just eat my weight in leafy greens. I'm getting full but I'm only consuming 600-800 calories probably but still feeding my body by using topics like nuts and fruits. Then fun day comes and I eat what I want and I detox the next day with salad and fruit again and a good day at the gym.

Thank all of you!!I started slim in 6 which is pretty cool but its just so damn slow. I am sick today so I cant workout. I am can barely do reg life activites. I thought that stomach weight is the hardest to get rid of? I am insulin resistance too I believe I was dx with PCOS when I was 19 but the only time symptoms I have is vanity things. such as facial hair, midsection gain, etc but I am fair from infertile. I am quite the opposite actually. I have reg periods have ever since I had my 1st kid 9 years ago. I got some cinnamon supplements yesterday that should help metabolize my sugar level and I have some insitol that should help with PCOS/ IR as well.
After I had my 1st son I gained alot of weight too and I low carbed it and did alot of sprints and stomach excercises everyday and lost the weight fast. its too cold now. I am going to go back to this....I need to put in the effort. really I thought abt doing the master cleanse to just clean my body out but idk.
I love the suggestion for emotional eating

my tummy is going down by wearing a tummy wrap i bought online everytime i go to the gym. i do 30 mins cardio and i also wear it in the sauna for 10 mins when im done working out. it takes off inches reasonably and shapes your body a bit over time.
u can cleanse with natural foods too. i cleansed during the summer by replacing all beverages with water or hot green tea and the only things i hate were fresh raw fruit and vegetables literally. and boiled eggs/raw almonds for protein. u wouldn't believe the energy i had from just eating that way. i shed like 7 pounds a week doing that.

I have one of those tummy wrap things but I stopped wearing it when I worked out because I read that it was nothing but water weight and that it made working out harder because of it keeping in the sweat that is trying to be released. I was harder for me to workout with it but Imma start wearig it again. thanks

maybe u need a different one. its not hard for me to workout in mine at all. and whether it holding sweat in or not, either way its making me swear more.. because i definitely wouldn't be sweating on my stomach at all when i exercised if i didn't wear it. and my sweat runs down out of it pooling at the waist band of my pants and below my bra. it doesn't really keep it in. and yes its water weight.. but seeing results is important too. and the waist trainer helps u change the shape of your body. that's y ppl quit so soon, when they aren't seeing results. like i said before... u'll get a lot more done when u start focusing on physical change with a body project and less on the scale numbers moving. those numbers can move all they want but if u don't have a goal body in mind, it won't change what u think of ur body. a person can be 210 pounds of solid muscle. numbers are superficial ways of determining fitness.
this is the one i have.

I really just want my waist to get down to a 29 not lower than a 27. I dont want to lose my hips/ butt but I know I am I dont want to get below a 40 since I an a 49 now. I am sick I cant work out and it is making me so mad. I really want to workout but if I do I know I wont be able to put my all into it and it will make my illness worse probably. its just harder to workout in it veruses not working out in it. which might be a positive thing. hopefully I will be over this illness by Monday. So I can get back on track. I am down to 207 (since before I got sick).

that's progress congrats. i know exactly what u mean. as soon as i got back into my exercise regimen i fell off my horse and was bedridden for almost a week and couldnt work out for an additional week. its sucks so bad when u have the motivation but can't act on it. just hold strong. i don't want the super small 24 inch waist most ppl are aiming for either, maybe 30 for now. i also have a 49 inch butt im trying not to lose. but im doing lots of lower half exercises to keep it up and full.

I am going to do Brazil Butt Lift again too. It did wonders on my lifting my butt but something I did notice with the ppl on the infomercials is that they didnt have a cuff. their butt was too high. I want to still have a cuff.

Ya I've finally developed my cuff lol. Doesn't look like u have any booty meat if u don't have a tiny bit of hang time. Not too much though. Just a line.
