Why the h am I 210lbs....this is the biggest I have been when not including being pregnant. OMG! I gottsa get on the ball. I could tell I looked bigger in the mirror today. Which made me weigh myself. omg! Any one want to become weight loss partners just to motivate each other.

Ill be your weight loss partner. I weighed myself the other day and I'm the same exact weight. You can't tell I'm tht much by looking at me but I remember when I was 140. This is insane. How do you want to go about this?

I'll help! I used to be 265 and I'm about 198 now. I've never been this light as an adult and there's still much work to be done. Don't be discouraged, ladies!

@MsCheeks...we can email...we can text it doesnt make me no diff...I want to get down to 160. I was doing Turbo Fire but my computer that I had it on died. I am going to have to download it again.

I'm not going to tell you anything you haven't heard, lol. It's 80% diet, 20% exercise. You have to eat to lose weight, you work out to look good!

I started losing weight on 1/1/2010. I took off about 50 lbs in that first year. I lost most of my weight without any supplements. I took a multi-vitamin and that's about it. Don't try and change everything overnight. Gradualy change your diet/exercise every 30 days (i.e. drink 2 more glasses of water a day, eat out one less day a week, do 45 mins of cardio instead of 30 mins, etc).

Don't be discouraged if your weight loss plateaus. It happens and it's not a bad thing. Take progress pictures, do you r measurements, try not to be obsessive about the number on the scale (it's hard at first, lol), listen/watch your body, and most importantly be patient.

As far as past and current exercises, I have done/am doing dance 3-4 days a week (African dance, Belly dance, Bollywood, Contemporary) + Turbo Jam + TurboFire + ChaLean Extreme + Zumba + running + walking + other stuff. I have a high endurance so I can workout for hours before getting tired.

I eat about 1500 calories a day but that number varies a bit sometimes. I keep a food journal on MyFitnessPal (you'd be amazed at what goes in your body when you put it in writing!). I know what my maintenance caloric consumption is (find your TDEE) and I know how much I need to consume to lose weight (a caloric deficiency).

I'll post my Year 1 progress pic here in a minute. If you have more specific questions, I will do my best to answer them. Hopefully I have said something useful. Big smile

i know people hate this but cutting out all sodas from your diet will help you lose weight.

if you find yourself watching tv a lot go buy an inexpensive exercise bike or just go for a walk.

@blaque....thank you I have lose it on my phone so I am going to start doing that for my food tracking and u look wonderful.

I love to run...but its cold the only time I can really run is early in the morning when its dark.. or late at night when its dark and I am too scared imma get kidnapped or something. but when day light savings time comes back I can run in the morning. The crazy thing is that I lose weight pretty quickly its defly my eating...I get stressed or emotional and I reach straight for the candy esply the turtles...they like katydids. I LOVE them I will leave my house at night to get me some. 

What can I do about the emotional eating I can workout everyday all day its the eating..

@Angel....i never use to drink sodas when I lived by myself I never ever had soda in my house but I moved back home and they have soda and juices and chips, and I need to cut that out and the coffee
