I obviously need help. Im the same weight for 2 weeks in a row. I ate no more than 1200 during the weekdays and 1600 during the weekends. I also ran 18 miles this week and did 5 body weight workouts. ( I guess I'm gaining muscle? But I still should be losing) This is just frustrating.

Maybe I should start eating my workout calories back.
I could also be retaining water because the up in bodyweight workouts. IDK.

Too low calories imo

Your metabolism is probably sluggy..

Your going to have to kick it up a notch or two

I feel your pain. It's very frustrating. My weight loss is going extremely slow as well, despite having a trainer and nutritionist. For me, it's the meds that I take that slow down my progress. I work out like a beast and sweat bullets. I'm pretty sure you're gaining muscle though. I get regular impedance (?) tests and it clearly shows how my body is transforming.

Im going to up my calories to 1500 a day and see what happens. Is that what you mean by kick it up a notch?

I'd go up to 2k for two weeks then gradually reduce by 150cal/wk till your down to 1200

Whilst aiming for an activity deficit of -300

1500 IMO might not be sufficient to boost your metabolism

These need to be clean well timed calories ..

I don't know how you manage 1200 calories. My trainer and I had discussed the possibility of going down to 1300 calories this week but I don't think I can handle that. I need at least 1500. So instead of working 4 times a week, I plan on increasing to 5-6 times a week.

I see. What do you mean by well timed? I eat failry clean though.
I hate to admit this, but Im not 100% sure I can go up to 2000 without freaking out. At least not all at one time. I'll still boost my calories though.

I came down to 1200 fairly slowly. I just eat a lot of vegetables to stay at 1200. My diet isn't varied, but I usually have some vegetable for breakfast and  a normal lunch and dinner, and if I want a snack it would be vegetable's as well. (My favorites are sauerkraut and broccoli)
