Princess Grace are you working out in a gym or at home? Today I will get some workouts in.  Hmm I wonder if that cheesecake can make minis in muffin tins? That would be perfect portions and no slicing. Have to hit the store.

I do both.... Lately I have been working out at home because the weather is just plain hatefulCry Okay I'm over the squat challenge, I will do the Jillian Michaels buns and thighs at home and a workout from one of those magazines in the gym.

you should be aiming for overall leg development which will create balance and retain posture and prevent lower back/hamstring injury

broomstick leg work out

(bar behind your shoulders) squats

1. 4 sets of 12 reps ( 4 secs down, 2 secs hold just below parallel, 4 secs up dont lock your knees out)

Nb* to maintain spinal alignment look forward or at a 30-45degree angle

2. walking lunges(rear leg should be at a 45 degree angle, when taking next step align both feet before moving forward) 10-12 each side for 3 sets

3. dead lifts, (back straight knees slightly bent, bar to drop no more than midshin level, hold for 3 secs before returning to a standing position by engaging your hips forward and focusing on squeezing your glutes before starting your next rep.

3 sets 0f 10-12

4. superman's on the floor 2X 12-failure

5. sumo squats (wide stance toes pointed out with broom between your legs)

no more than twice a week

focus on feeling your muscles rather than reps, you can always add reps later

thank me later /drake

I was doing more than just squats, I meant for that squat challenge that I started. Even with that it was lunges, bridges, deadlifts, and some other stuff.

Thanks for the info
