Got to the gym
warmed up for 10 mins with a brisk run...
I took an advanced Zumba class for about 40 mins.....
Then afterwards, I did a leg circuit...

I'm taking thermogenics which is probably why I get so hot and burn so many calories

but hey, -7lbs......40lbs down!!!!!

Today's workout: (Doing joggers version for cardio 5, 6.5, 8)

Blast Fat, Build Strength: 60-Minute Calorie Meltdown

Burn 60 — Reese Witherspoon's a fan, and it shows. By combining high-intensity intervals on the treadmill with serious strength work, this 60-minute class targets every muscle group in the body while never letting the heart rate drop. Hard? Yes. Fun? Totally.

Unfortunately, to get to an actual class, you need to be in LA. Luckily, Burn 60 trainers Michelle Lovitt and Anna Renderer made it easy for us. They simplified the studio workout just a tad, developing a perfect routine that can be used anywhere. Whether you take it to the gym, with you on your next business trip, or adapt it to an outdoor run, be OK to sweat and bid farewell to hundreds — and hundreds — of calories!

You'll begin the workout with the cardio section before moving on to strength, then repeat for a total of three times.

Cardio

Determine your fitness level (walk, run, or jog) and repeat the three-minute cycle a total of three times. Adjust speeds as necessary, but keep in mind that the fast section of the workout should feel like you are at your max capacity, and the easy speed should still keep the heart rate elevated. After running through the cycle three times, end with a one-minute cooldown at the speed of your easy pace. Total minutes performed: 10. Then quickly move on to the strength section!

Walkers

  • One minute easy (speed 3.5)
  • One minute moderate (speed 4.0)
  • One minute fast (speed 4.5)

Joggers

  • One minute easy (speed 4.5-5.0)
  • One minute moderate (speed 5.5-6.5)
  • One minute fast (speed 7.0-8.0)

Runners

  • One minute easy (speed 6.0-7.0)
  • One minute moderate (speed 7.5-8.5)
  • One minute fast (speed 9.0-10.0)

Strength

Keeping the heart rate elevated will help build endurance and increase calorie burn. This circuit aims to do that while also working every muscle group of the body. Repeat the below strength-training circuit twice for a total of 10 minutes.


Exercise Reps Notes and Tips
Side Plank Leg Lift 10 reps on each side Keep your waist up and lifted.
Jump Squats 20 reps Use your whole foot to jump, not just your toes.
Triceps Dips 15 reps If you don't have a bench, do them on the ground.
Burpees 10 reps If needed, modify by taking out the jumps.
Bicycle Crunches 30 reps Focus more on your form than speed.

Play around with how many times you want to run through the cardio and strength sets, but to have a true Burn 60 experience, repeat the above three times. Here's what it should look like:

10:00-20:00 Strength
20:00-30:00 Cardio
30:00-40:00 Strength
40:00-50:00 Cardio
50:00-60:00 Strength
60:00-70:00 Cooldown

I failed last night.  I just couldnt go to the gym.  I couldnt pull it together mentally.  Then thinkin about how crowded it's been thanks to everyones new years resolutions.................

but my body is trained and it resulted in me being up alll night until 12:30 am.  I shoulda went and burned off that energy

This green drink I just bought from this place has my head hurting...
That's not normal for me.
I wonder why... It tastes strong but I doubt it's stronger than the ones I make at home..

Maybe it's cus I had coffee early..? Idk what that would do but I can't think of why else this would be happening..
Maybe it has a lot of dandelion or somethin.. My body isn't as used to that as the other ingredients...

Anyways I'm about to buy another one from a diff places I've been wanting to try and happened to randomly just pass..
Even though I have some at home which I forgot to bring :-/

I started REALLY committing to it around Dec. of last year.......I went thru some injuries for a while...then I got back on it...then got more injuries.... Cry I had to change my running shoes...

I take 2 a day....... I stopped taking them for a while to see if I would gain weight back and I didn't...I started taking them again last week. If you are extremely sensitive to caffeine DO NOT TAKE THESE!!!! I do ok with caffeine and sometimes I get wired.

i prefer boot camp style workouts and sprint workouts the most because i lose weight the fastest with those, so i guess most of my workouts are at the gym or home

but i try to do something different every day and incorporate a class (spin, yoga, or TRX) or run outside at least once a week

i get really bored...so lately i find various workouts on fitnessblender.com

OHH Im excited about this thread. Ok my goal is to tone up. I just had my last and final baby in August. After 5 kids my stomach just ain't the same. Not terrible but not as toned as I would like. I am slimmer now than I was before the baby( breastfeeding). At first I was thinking about regaining my 10 lbs but I'm kind of liking how my shape is looking at this weight. I lost some of my booty though but its still juicy. I think with some light cardio and some weight training I will be soooo bomb by summer! I want to slim down my waist some and build up my thigh muscles and glutes. My butt is alittle too jiggly wiggly. I am doing good with drinking water. My diet could be better though. I like to bake alot! 

I really need a gym membership. Im going to check out groupon. 

Are we posting pics in here? I didn't see any.
