I had a summer goal of losing 25 lbs. Well, I plateaud and ended up only losing 10 . But when I moved back into the same dorm I moved out of 3 months ago, and looked at myself in the same mirror, I could see a big difference physically. I didn't notice it before this.

Actually I lost 11. My goal for this semester is 25 lbs. It will be mostly through diet, however I will still run and go to the gym. But there is no way I can do that for an 1-2 hours a day like in the summer.
Do you guys have any goals?

Congrats Concrete!
I squeezed my ass into a size 2 dress....that is obviously cut very large but I am still proud.
I havent been dieting of late....just working out....sometimes I just need a break from it all. Hopefully in September I start back up. I will say my aunt & uncle came from Haiti and they have not seen me in a year and they were like you lost a lot of weight! They saw me at my heaviest last year so that feels good. I am about 10-15 pounds from what I weighed when I got married.
So my goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of the year.

Congrats y'all!
I have lost about 10lbs net from the winter gain. I was down 5 more and crept back up because I slacked off regarding nutrition. So my new goal is to focus on meal prep again, incorporating a moderately low carb diet, and working out 2-3 times a week. My main goal is to go down a size and maintain it/lean out some more.

Good Job with the 10lbs Miss B. mann, If I could low carb, I would be at my goal weight now . Carbs are my number one weakness though. I definitely did keto all of one day. lol

m3, I counted macros only for like a few weeks when I was at my plateau and desperate. It was exhausting to me though, so I just went back to just counting calories.

WHEW! Mine too. That's why its a "moderate" low carb diet, lol. I tried a strict low carb diet and was moody as hell. Just pissed off all the time, and got headaches more frequently. And trying to eat carrot and celery sticks to compensate just made me madder, lol. I would almost always end up cheating at some point in the evening with a sandwich . The 10 days or so I stuck with it completely it DID work (those extra 5lbs that I have since gained back) and the cravings faded but didn't go away. Plus, a strict low carb diet is supposed to be short term anyway. The results are also short term
I still allow myself to indulge in carbs occasionally, especially since I consider myself a brunch connoisseur. If you're gonna do brunch you gotta go all in: french toast and bottem-less mimosas . But I just try to spread it out and get an extra workout in when I do.
Oh and the Special K protein cereal is my go to when I really want something kinda carby. A serving has about half of the carbs in most cereals and has more protein (10g). Def helps with cravings.
Thanks for the encouragement! You've got this CR. One good choice at a time, one day at a time.
